The silent majority of Malaysians who cherish the nation’s peace and stability should no longer remain silent.
The silent majority, who overwhelmingly outnumber those who take to the streets to tarnish the country’s image, must stand up and be counted.
It’s time for the silent majority of Malaysians, particularly the younger generation who support the Government’s initiatives towards a better Malaysia to rise and air their views.
Speak UP, use the NEW MEDIA! - those were basically Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s message to Malaysians who oppose the small group of Opposition-backed street demonstrators who marred the streets of Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
Speaking after addressing about 6,000 Umno and NGO representatives at PWTC earlier today, Najib sent a clear signal that the ruling government would no longer remain silent to the antics of trouble-makers in the country.
Earlier in his speech Najib said the only way to defeat the trouble makers and their politics of hatred, deceit and lies was through unity.
The Malays must unite with all the other races in our country who also reject such dirty politics and teach these trouble-makers a lesson.

That guy is the trouble maker, Najib said without even mentioning Anwar’s name. When that person was ‘inside’ this country was trouble free.

Malaysiakini Drops the Magical Number – 50,000
Bersih 2.0 has hailed its rally as a victory for the movement and the people of Malaysia, claiming that up to 50,000 people had participated, supporting its cause for clean and fair elections.
The two relevant points: (a) Bersih is a success – why would Ambiga say otherwise? and, (b) turnout was 50,000.
The first is a matter of opinion, so Kuek Ser could get away with writing and attributing anything. But the second, 50,000? That is a matter of objective fact. So why should the reporter and his ‘independent’ newspaper take Bersih’s word for it? And where did they get that number? Did Kuek Ser verify? Does he know how to count? Did he count? How?
