Blogger Sime Darby Watch has started a campaign -'No to Klia@East' - against the move to kill KLIA by creating another airport in Labu, Negeri Sembilan.  

If you don't support the Sime Darby / Air Asia initiative to kill KLIA put this logo on your blog, website, facebook, friendster,myspace and whatever other sites that you might have, AND if you think the new airport propsal is a good idea, please tell us, Malaysians, WHY YOU THINK SO.

Why Lah, LABU!

EVILABU!

As the whole country, or maybe the entire world, is aware now, Sime Darby Berhad has somewhat gained negative reputation as a notorious conglomerate. 

It's now known as a once high-flying national company which is under the thumbs of dubious personalities cum 1st class cronies of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Another such equally 'funny but arrogant' company is Air Asia. 

This 'cheap' airline is cheap in so many ways ... from refusing to pay for aerobridges at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), refusing to pay millions of ringgit in debts to Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (MAHB), to long overdue ground-handling payments to poor rural folks in both Sabah & Sarawak.

 

Air Asia (including FAX and Air Asia X as the same characters are involved in all three companies) even hijacked, not only  local, but also international routes which were secured for MALAYSIA AIRLINES through Government-2-Government negotiations.

Ok, enough of these two companies' shining records and the masked-men running them. 

THE very bad news for us, Malaysians, is that these two companies have now formed a tag-team to construct a RM1.6 or 1.7 billion airport in Labu, Negeri Sembilan. 

The costs of the 3,000 acres of former Labu Estate land ( read Guthrie) that has been identified for the NEW AIRPORT would chalk up another few hundreds of thousand, if not another billion ringgit.

    

So, the ACTUAL COST of the new airport is one thing but I just wonder WHY we need another airport just about 50 kilometres from KLIA.

IJN SAVED

OUR HEART IS SAFE ... in IJN.

Sime Darby, it seems, has DROPPED the much opposed take-over of Institut Jantung Negara. 

I don't know exactly why the DUMB idea was suddenly dropped but I'm sure a large chunk of Malaysians would be happy to hear that the premier heart institute will not be swallowed by Sime Darby Berhad.

p/s I just hope that Sime Darby (read Tun Musa Hitam & Zubir) don't come up with other equally DUMB ideas and 'midnight proposals' before Abdullah Ahmad Badawi leaves office in less than 3 months time.

Sime Darby gets govt nod for Labu LCCT plan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Bhd has received the government’s approval to proceed with the proposed private low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) project in Labu, Negri Sembilan.

Sime Darby said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia on Monday the project was an integral part of its development plan for its Negeri Sembilan Vision City (NSVC).

The EPU meeting with IJN proceed as scheduled. Sime Darby was not present.

In the meeting, Director General of EPU, Datuk Dr Sulaiman Mahbob informed the meeting that Government insist IJN to be privatised to Sime Darby. Dr Sulaiman is the former Director of Institut Integriti Malaysia , Malaysia Institute of Economic Research (MIER), and Secretariat of National Economic Action Council (NEAC).

The initial information received from EPU source revealed the rationale was to improve doctors pay package and increase financial capacity for expansion. It is similar to Sime Darby's expressed justification for their proposed takeover of IJN.

The IJN side dispute the rationale of EPU with the doctors' near 'unanimous' press statement on December 19th, 2008 and IJN's financial reserve of RM400 million. They argued that IJN raised more fund to finance expansion by leveraging on its reserve.

Sources said the representative from Ministry of Finance present strongly opposed to the privatisation and insisted IJN should remain a non-profit organisation. They explicitly expressed the Minister of Finance is opposed to the Sime Darby proposal.

Political Scientist Predicts U.S. Will Break Into 6 Part

A leading Russian political analyst has said  that the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin (Igor Panarin, PH.D., Dean, Diplomatic Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs) said in an interview with the daily Izvestiapublished in that “The dollar is not secured by anything. The country’s foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than $11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse.” 

Panarin, 60, is the spokesman for the Russian space program and is often quoted in articles around the world. He may be the highest-ranking official in any government to admit that the amero plan is real. He is a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has authored several books on information warfare.

He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts—the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Indian populations; and the northern states, where the influence from
Canada is strong.
