Tangan kanan menghulur, tangan kiri meragut.

p/s

Penjawat awam jangan gundah gulana,

You damn right APANAMA rakyat peduli including those living, working, studying overseas, no matter how long and how far, why? Because we know for every sufferings within the country there is always your brother or sister or uncles or aunties, cousins from the 1st Cousin to next tier, relatives friends and the rest of fellow Malaysians! And that is one serious concern!

Wonderful.

Guy who stole $4 billion standing with guy who spent Yapeim cash on shopping & golf, and they are now 'champions of Islam'.

We are doomed.

NOW KWAP IS BAILED OUT BY CHINA......

PETALING JAYA: A looming debt crisis hangs over former 1MDB subsidiary SRC International, which borrowed RM4 billion from a civil servants’ pension fund, according to a Singapore news report.

Malaysian government negotiators were seeking a China-led takeover of SRC assets in return for fresh capital that will help finance the 10-year loan from Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pencen, according to the Singapore Straits Times.

In a report from its Kuala Lumpur correspondent, the newspaper said SRC International was struggling to make annual interest payments and would face a challenge early next year when it is due to make interest payment and part repayment of the principal amount.

KWAP is the pension fund of the country’s 1.6 million civil servants and the report said SRC’s problems could pose a fresh headache for Prime Minister Najib Razak.

SRC International was set up in early 2011 to pursue strategic overseas investments in energy resources. It was a subsidiary of the government’s troubled investment arm, 1Malaysia Development Berhad, which is fully-owned by the finance ministry.

The subsidiary company, which has since been taken over by the finance ministry, has been linked to a deposit of RM42 million into Najib’s private bank accounts in 2013. The prime minister has said he was not aware of this.

The ST report said SRC pays RM164 million in annual interest to KWAP. However it must pay RM660 million next year, and RM964 million in 2018, as it pares down the principal amount.

“This needs to be resolved and one option being considered is the sale of the company’s assets and liabilities to a new party,” said one financial executive, who has been involved in the corporate restructuring at 1MDB, according to the report.

Same as 1MDB.

"Investment" (in SRC case, in Gobi desert) that is a complete fiction.

That KWAP money is GONE.

The Swiss AG has just confirmed it.

How many more lies can MO1 tell?

Now he runs to sell everything to China, China, China.

Bandar Malaysia – China’s new regional capital

Malaysia, vulnerable, exposed and ripe for exploitation as a consequence of the massive 1MDB scandal, is set to be the jewel in the crown of China’s ambitious regional agenda. In exchange for a Chinese bailout, significant national assets and lucrative contracts are being handed over to China in a series of murky deals.

China Railway has been awarded both the RM7.13 billion (USD1.71b) Gemas-Johor Baru electrified double-tracking rail project and the RM55 billion (USD13.2b) East Coast Railway project and is a shoo-in for the RM60 billion (USD14.4b) Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Railway project as well.

And this comes after China was awarded the RM43 billion (USD10b) Malacca Gateway Project (deep-sea port and ocean park) and the main contract for the first package of the second Penang Bridge project (the longest bridge in Southeast Asia).

One has to wonder whether someone somewhere is dreaming up these projects just for China’s benefit? Is there some secret agreement giving China a lock on all mega-infrastructure projects in Malaysia?

The biggest catch of all, however, is expected to be the Bandar Malaysia project, a colossal monument to avarice and arrogance. With an expected gross development value of RM160 billion (USD38.36b), it will feature the world’s largest underground city, shopping malls, indoor theme parks, a financial centre as well as the RM8.3 billion (USD1.9b) regional headquarters of China Railway.

When completed, it will turn the Malaysian capital into the most impressive Chinese railway station along the so-called Iron Silk Route linking Beijing with Singapore.

Malaysians haven’t as yet woken up to the monstrosity that is being foisted upon them.
Bandar Malaysia, which will cost almost four times the reported cost of Putrajaya, the nation’s administrative capital, will distort the property market, add to the city’s already intolerable traffic congestion, reduce the city’s livability and see the introduction of thousands of PRC workers, contractors and staff.

No doubt much of the residential and office space at Bandar Malaysia will also be taken up by PRC nationals, already a growing presence in the local property market.

All in all, it is an outrageous crony project designed to benefit cronies, both local and foreign, at the expense of ordinary Malaysians. It serves China’s interest far more than it serves Malaysia’s.

WE MISS SLUMBERJACK.......

In his book The Malaysia That Could Be, an extract of which was published by the Singapore Straits Times today, Kalimullah relates events and conversations that took place at the headquarters of Umno and the Barisan Nasional on the night of March 8, 2008 as election returns were reported.

He noted that Umno supreme council member Azalina Othman had appeared to be distraught when she came out into the corridor in tears, saying: “This is all the fault of the Chinese.”

He also relates how former Selangor Menteri Besar Muhammad Muhammad Taib tried to calm her down and shoved her inside, and asked that Abdullah be informed. “The PM has to know… this is dangerous talk” and Muhammad later told Abdullah: “I think you have to calm our people.”

Kalimullah said Abdullah told them not to worry. “This is all part of the democratic process. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.”

The PM then spoke to the then Inspector-General of Police, Musa Hassan, on the telephone, telling Musa that he wanted to ensure “a smooth handover of power” but was concerned that emotions could run high.

Musa was to secure the office of state secretariats and ensure no files or documents were removed. The police were ordered to ensure security and oversee the handing over of power. Musa was also to inform political leaders to ensure that supporters did not go out into the streets.

“I cannot recall his exact words but Abdullah told Musa to warn both the opposition and his own party leaders that he would not brook nor tolerate any attempt to create trouble and that if anyone did so, they would face the full brunt of the law,” Kalimullah wrote.

He said Abdullah also rejected efforts by defeated BN state leaders to “buy over” assemblymen or to “cause problems” in marginal states like Kedah, Perak and Selangor.

“But [Abdullah] put his foot down and where gentle advice did not work, he warned that he would not hesitate to use the law on anyone – party member, friend or foe – who tried to subvert the democratic process,” wrote Kalimullah, who was deputy chairman of the New Straits Times Press at the time.

“However, later, in 2009, in Abdullah’s last days as prime minister, his successor-to-be, Najib Razak, engineered the defections of three assemblymen in Perak, which caused the Pakatan Rakyat-led state government to fall.

1MDB's debt is not govt's debt, says Najib

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has said that debts accumulated by 1MDB are not considered government debts.

"Debts (accumulated) by 1MDB and their related projects are not classified as federal government debts.

"Therefore, debts accumulated by 1MDB and their related projects do not contribute to government debts," said the finance minister.

- What a load of bull. Lots of loans taken by 1MDB guaranteed by the gomen. That means what? If 1MDB defaulted in any of its commitments and liabilities, the gomen has to step in eventually to sort out its mess since the gomen is the ultimate guarantor. That means what? at the end of the day, it's the taxpayers' money that will go up in smokes..and by the way, it is not the gomen's debt but you're using gomen's OSA to block assess to its audit report. Nothing to do with govt huh?..

Apakah mungkin penyangak pengkhianat negara dibenarkan mengguna kemudahan milik kerajaan Malaysia?!

In return for this enormous bailout, Malaysia’s Finance Ministry is to undertake to pay billions to CCCC on top of the actual cost of the project.

The contract works thus:

Total contract value: RM60 billion

Actual assumed cost of project: RM27 billion

CCCC profit margin of 4.55 percent: RM2.729 billion

Additional differential: RM29.8 billion
