We don't want a Police State - Dr Mahathir

During last Friday's no-holds-barred session with our statesman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at his Al-Bukhary Foundation office in Jalan Perdana in Kuala Lumpur, he was asked what made him remove his gloves in the ongoing 'fight' against Najib Tun Razak the Prime Minister.

The almost 90-minute session with bloggers was not a closed door meet, as agreed by Dr Mahathir and his aides. It was an open session for bloggers, especially for those who disagreed with Dr M on his recent criticisms against Najib, to clear their conscience.

Dr Mahathir's response, when asked if there was a possibility of him being together with Najib again, shocked a few who understood the matter.

It was, as Dr M describes it, the straw that broke the camel's back after more than four years.

Listen carefully to what Dr M says in this video.

Ironic isn't it. Tun made this remark last week and this week the Deputy Home Ministry announces that the police will call up Dr Mahathir for questioning. Look like Deputy Home Minister/politician dictating the police rite?

If you carefully analyse the status of the "game", i think najib and the moronic supporters are going to silence tdm for good. At least thats what his supporters might think

As for me, its the beginning of the swelling of the middle and lower ground rebellion "Annie's words" that could expedite the fall of current regime headed by najib.

Let the show begins

Thomas Jefferson was the man who wrote the Declaration of Independence and later became the third president of the United States. April 13, 2015 marked his 272th birthday. This is what the American founding father had to counsel:

"On matters of style, swim with the current; on matters of principle, stand like a rock."

"The whole art of government consists in the art of being honest."

"He who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time, till at length it becomes habitual. He then tells lies without attending to it, and says truths without the world's believing him. This falsehood of the tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves it of all its good dispositions."

We must be fair. The deputy Home Minister's statement was not an order or directive (as I gather from news reports). He was just stating the facts when asked by reporters.

Jangan jadi banggang.

Lesap berbillion WANG rakyat.

Walk the Talk, please.

Bagilah orang lain pegang Kementerian Kewangan. Bangsawan boros tak boleh pegang WANG Rakyat.

I also went into Din turtle's blog where he carried a slightly longer interview recording. Fascinating.
Apanama when can we have the full 90mins recording to watch? Worth our while to see how Tun can hold his own against bloggers who are anti him.
He makes complete sense in what he says. He does not need precorded interviews to get the message across.
"We don't want a Police State", and 1MDB is wrong.

The criterion in the policing of oneself and of others according to the Shariah:

It is "obligatory (wajib) to be contented" with what Allah Most High has destined for us of His acts, such as illness, disease, poverty, malady, loss of intellect, and so forth - some ulama say it "commendable (sunnah) to be contented" with such hardships, but indeed "obligatory to practice patience" throughout such hardships.

Now, as for those acts which Allah Most Merciful has forbidden (haram) for human beings, such as unbelief and misguidance, "to be content with them is unlawful (haram)" according to the consensus (ijma‘) of all scholars, because to be in association with rebellious unbelief and acts of evil is itself the manifestation of one's own unbelief and disobedience.

It is evil to cheat and mislead people, just as it misguidance to worship any thing other than Allah Most High, the Lord Creator.

Dr. Mahathir is correct therefore, in pursuing this serious matter, for the continuing welfare of all Malaysians.

"O David! Verily! We have placed you as a successor on the earth; so judge between men in truth and justice and follow not your own desires - for it will mislead you from the Path of Allâh. Verily, those who wander astray from the Path of Allâh shall face a severe torment, because they forgot the Day of Judgement."

- Quran: chapter Sad(38):26
