Happy 90th Birthday Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad

Wait for Dr Mahathir's Birthday wish ... 

Asked what is his 90th birthday wish, Dr Mahathir replied simply: “For Najib to step down.”

The crooked bridge and me - Dr M

1. Some people believe that I am so angry over not building the crooked bridge that I want Najib to resign.

2. I am not so frivolous. Yes, I am disappointed, especially as Najib appealed to the Singapore PM to build a bridge and the latter rejected it. It is shameful that we dare not build a bridge in our own land without approval by Singapore.

3. This shameful episode is not enough for me to ask Najib to step down. Najib is the son of Tun Razak, the man responsible for my elevation to Prime Ministership. Partly for that reason and partly because Najib showed good performance when I was PM, I wanted Najib to be PM. And people know I worked hard at it pressuring Abdullah to appoint him as DPM, so that he would become PM, when Abdullah leaves.

4. But Najib failed in many areas after becoming PM. Apart from the bridge he did not go ahead with the double tracking and electrification of the railway line from J.B. to Padang Besar which had been agreed upon but was dropped by Abdullah. For 14 billion Ringgit we would have this project completed by 2010. Instead, forced by the demand, he sanctioned the continuation of the track from Ipoh to Padang Besar for 12 billion Ringgit. We lost a lot of money.

5. Then he began to recruit his own 4th floor boys plus a number of British personnel to advise him on how to run the country. They, also used foreign consultants costing more than 7 billion ringgit. We had achieved independence in 1957 and we got rid of British advisers. We did better without them. Najib did not seem to believe in the Malaysian capacity to develop the country.

6. Ignoring the EPU and other Government departments he set up a new agency to plan the development of the country. This agency was headed by a non-civil servant and the salaries of these personnel far exceed that paid to civil servants.

7. The civil servants were very unhappy. In the past they on their own transformed this country from a developing country to a middle-income nation. Now their services, their expertise and experience are no longer needed.

8. They had always been loyal to the BN Government. Now many no longer support the Government. Some even join the opposition after retirement and stood as candidates in elections.

9. As a result of the role given to this new agency the policies of the Government were changed. Najib was told that the rejection of Abdullah in 2008 was due to Chinese dislike for the New Economic Policy. To win them back Najib must ignore affirmative action and should be seen to be more supportive of the Chinese and Indians.

10. He reduced places for bumis in the Government Universities even though in the numerous private universities and twinned colleges, bumis make up less than 10%. Bumiputra contactors and small business no longer had government favour. Most had to stop their businesses.

11. Without saying so in so many words he had adopted the Malaysian Malaysia slogan of the opposition, only calling it One Malaysia instead.

12. Responding to opposition demand he abolished the ISA and freed all those under restricted residence. Crime rates went up.

13. Then he started giving money to people, not just to individuals who earn less than RM3000/- per month but to the associations and the corporate sector as well. Billions were spent on this.

14. Then rallies were organised on every occasions. The organisers were instructed to gather 10,000 people. They were given food and allowances and were transported to the sites, where they were given placards to hold up with “I love PM” written on them. A song 1M4U was composed and sung even at the national day parade.

15. Despite all these the Chinese refused to support Najib. They flocked to the opposition and he performed worse than Abdullah in the 13th General Election.

16. The Malays too did not support Najib. Selangor after he headed UMNO did worse than 2008. Malays only voted for BN because they feared Anwar would appoint Kit Siang as DPM.

17. Through all these I continued to support Najib. On the few occasions I met him, I told him his strategy was wrong but my views were ignored. I said before the 2013 elections that if he did worse than Abdullah he should resign. I had fully expected him to do better than Abdullah.

18. When he failed I told people that they should continue to support him. I was prepared, despite everything to see him lead the BN in the 14th GE.

19. But now with the controversies dogging him I am sure BN would lose if he leads it in the 14th GE.

20. There are many things about his personal behavior that I thought were not right. But I was prepared to overlook them, including he and his wife’s lavish lifestyle.

21. But when he cannot explain where billions of Ringgits have gone to and his involvement with questionable people in the management of 1MDB, I felt that he is not fit to be the Prime Minister of this country.

Muhyiddin to Tun Mahathir: You're not alone Sir!


Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, nampaknya, telah tampil kehadapan untuk menyelamatkan Umno dan Barisan Nasional. 

Ungkapan 'you're not alone' atau 'Anda bukan keseorangan' yang dizahirkan dihadapan Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad dalam satu majlis anti-peperangan di Kuala Lumpur hari ini membawa erti yang begitu besar, terutamanya kepada ribuan ahli, orang serta penyokong Umno, Barisan Nasional dan Kerajaan Malaysia. 

Ramai juga pemimpin dari akar umbi hingga peringkat tertinggi, termasuk kakitangan kerajaan, yang tertunggu-tunggu akan isyarat ini.

Pasti ada ulat-ulat yang akan cuba memperlekeh, memutar belit serta menipu diri sendiri akan ungkapan Timbalan Presiden Umno merangkap Timbalan Perdana Menteri ini. 

Di harap Timbalan Perdana Menteri tidak terkejut dengan reaksi golongan barbarian (hidupan tidak bertamadun yang dibela umpama hantu raya) yang pasti menyerang beliau di alam siber. 

Walau apa pun, saya ingin mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Tan Sri Muhyiddin kerana muncul meniup api perjuangan menentang kebatilan pada saat dan waktu yang amat getir kini. 

Saat dan waktu kini sudah getir kerana pemungut hasil pun telah mula disalahgunakan untuk mengugut dan menindas mereka yang tidak menjunjung kebatilan. 

Kita juga harus berwaspada dan jangan lupa akan ungkapan 'kebatilan yang tersusun mampu mengalahkan kebenaran yang tidak teratur'. 

Jangan alpa dengan kebatilan yang dipersembahkan bersama irama merdu dan sogokan wang ringgit serta jawatan yang menjanjikan pulangan yang lumayan. 

Jangan gadaikan maruah serta masa depan dengan menongkah kebatilan yang sudah nyata.

Ini soal masa depan kita semua TANPA MENGIRA agama, bangsa, bahasa atau warna kulit.

Dr Mahathir - Soal Tak Jawab

SOAL TAK JAWAB

1. Saya sedar saya keseorangan. Tetapi jika saya juga berasa bertanggungjawab kepada rakyat salahkah. Apabila duit rakyat hilang dan ini tersembunyi dari rakyat salahkah kalau saya tanya.

2. Saya fikir jika diadakan soal jawab melalui T.V tentulah kerana ingin beritahu rakyat, bukan saya sahaja.

3. Hakikatnya wang 1MDB ada dimana masih tidak dijawab, kata Dato Sri Najib wang itu tidak ada di Cayman Islands. Tetapi dulu mengaku ada di Cayman Islands dan sudah dibawa balik.

4. Rakyat jadi lebih keliru. Jika tidak ada di Cayman Islands, ada dimana? Daripada mana datang wang yang separuh dibawa balik dahulu dan separuh dibawa balik untuk disimpan di Singapura.

5. Kenapa perlu simpan duit yang bukan dari Cayman Islands dan tidak diguna untuk bayar faedah dua billion. Kenapa kerajaan membuat standing credit sebanyak 900 million.

6. Berkenaan Altantuya, saya hanya bertanya siapa yang memberi arahan kepada Sirul yang dikena hukum bunuh. Saya tidak tuduh Najib. Biasanya anggota polis atau tentera tidak tembak mati sesiapa melainkan diserang atau di arah. Ini soal nyawa manusia. Kalau salah, bunuhlah Sirul. Tetapi kalau menjalankan tugas, menurut perintah tidak adil lah jika Sirul dibunuh.

7. Ramai orang datang jumpa saya. Jika keluarga Sirul nak jumpa, saya jumpa. Ini bukan soal lapan tahun dahulu. Ini soal nak gantung anak orang ini hari ini.

8. Rakyat tidak tanya. Tetapi ramai tanya saya. Saya tak dapat jawab. Saya tanya orang yang boleh jawab.

9. Banyaklah lagi soalan saya yang tidak dijawab. Sebaliknya, tindakan saya ini kononnya kerana jambatan bengkok tidak dibina.

10. Jika kerana jambatan bengkok yang saya marah, saya patut tuntut perletakan Najib sebelum PRU 13. Sebaliknya saya berkempen untuk kemenangan Najib. Kepimpinan Najib di Selangor tidak berkesan.

11. Sokongan dari kumpulan-kumpulan tertentu tidak bermakna mereka sokong 1MDB. Mereka takut. Ada yang tanya saya berkenaan dengan 1MDB dan minta saya buat sesuatu. Sekarang ada ugutan terhadap sesiapa yang tidak menyatakan sokongan kepada Najib.

12. Teringat saya kepada ribuan orang yang dibawa berhimpun dan disuruh angkat sepanduk “I love PM” dan menyanyi “I M 4 U”. Tetapi dalam PRU 13 kalah.

Malaysia prays for a leader

Singapore's founding leader Lee Kuan Yew, credited with transforming the city-state to one of Asia's wealthiest economies, is in hospital breathing with the help of a machine but in stable condition, the government said Saturday.

A statement from the Prime Minister's Office said the 91-year-old was admitted to Singapore General Hospital on February 5 to be treated for severe pneumonia.

"His condition has stabilised and he remains on mechanical ventilation in the ICU (intensive care unit)," the statement said, using a term to refer to machine-assisted breathing.

"He is conscious and lightly sedated," it added.

"His doctors are continuing to monitor his condition."

Lee, the father of current prime minister Lee Hsien Loong, is widely credited with transforming Singapore from an economic backwater to a rich economy in just over three decades.

He served as prime minister from 1959, when Singapore gained self-rule from colonial ruler Britain, until he stepped down in 1990 in favour of his deputy Goh Chok Tong, who in turn handed power to Lee Hsien Loong in 2004.

We shall hope and pray for Singapore's statesman Lee Kuan Yew. God willing, the 91 year-old enjoys a quick recovery and continues to be blessed with good health. 

Despite some political differences, we must admit that LKY is a no nonsense leader, a fighter, who basically dragged his people forward to what they are today. 

Flaws aplenty but Singapore treats him like a King till this day.

Remember! Leadership is about leading. When you can't lead, the best thing to do would be to leave before people on this side of the plank start leaving. 

One guy is already leaving (in the visual above). You better take note of the situation and do something real so the others don't follow suit. If you continue to live in denial, the rest will surely leave. That's for sure. 

Plus the weight of the rostrum, you will fall even before the last few decides to dump you. 

You may get your advisors and apple-polishers to stand by your side, but that would add on the weight and make you fall sooner than later. 

This is a reminder. Think about it. You may want to continue to live in denial based on the theories and justifications presented by your able advisors and assistants. That's purely your choice. 

The fact of the matter is that people have lost any little hope that they had in you when you started telling lies. Don't even attempt to fool the people with more cash and goodies, it simply doesn't work. 

Trust me, even people in the flood-stricken interiors of the peninsula could call your bluff. 

The charade in your own grouping have started rolling out too, indicating a serious tussle for power. Lieutenants realise that your days are numbered so they're jostling for seats.

While your position is precarious, your so called political operatives are busy creating more enemies from personalities who used to be your mentor and friends. 

Your operatives are nothing but the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. They only remain relevant when there is conflict and as long as you are weak, thus the 'game' to keep you dependent on their black ops. Its actually a scam. A recent episode should remind you of this situation.     

To me, this is the beginning of the end.  Your time is coming to an end. It may be bitter but that is the fact of the matter. 

If you don't trust what I say, go look for another shaman.

Tun M is still our advisor, says PETRONAS

Decision on matters relating to the appointment or resignation of PETRONAS’ Advisor is the prerogative of the Office of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and beyond the purview of PETRONAS. PETRONAS categorically denies the claim that it took actions to vacate Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s office following the announcement of his intention to relinquish his position.  As far as PETRONAS is concerned, Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr Mahathir is still PETRONAS’ Advisor and maintains his office at the PETRONAS Twin Towers. PETRONAS holds the utmost respect and esteem for Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for his contributions not only to PETRONAS but to the nation. PETRONAS unequivocally condemns the malicious statements of MTEM who blatantly fabricated this claim for their questionable purposes.

Above is the official response from the efficient people who speak for Petronas. The clarifications came following Majlis Tindakan Ekonomi Melayu's allegations that Petronas had humiliated Tun M by clearing his office barely 24hours after his intended resignation.

It has been proven now the allegations were nothing but a pack of lies.

"CEO Nizam Mahshar, said a reliable source in Petronas had told him that Petronas cleared Mahathir’s office within 24 hours after he sent in his resignation letter to PM Najib Tun Razak.

“Petronas humiliated Tun by clearing out his office in KLCC and sealing it up barely 24 hours after his resignation.

“Is this how a national oil company treat a man who was instrumental in turning Petronas into a Fortune 500 company? asked Nizam at a press conference today." - FMT

MTEM is suspect from day one. Their 'struggle for the Malay biz' appears nothing but a self serving agenda. This latest attempt to, again, manipulate Tun M with such childish ludicrous lie is shameful. 

If MTEM is indeed led by sane people, it must now offer a public apology to Tun Dr Mahathir, Petronas and its chief Samsul Azhar Abbas. 

MTEM is Majlis Tindakan Ekonomi Melayu or should it aptly be re-named as Majlis Tindakan Ekonomi Masing-masing?

Yes we are strong BN supporters, but ...

                      

Yes we are strong, loyal supporters of the Government, the 14-party Barisan Nasional coalition government. 

We support the BN that represents each and every ethnic group in our diverse multiracial/multi-religious society.

Our parents and grandparents were staunch supporters and members of the Perikatan/BN. We continue to support the BN, although some of us are not members of any political party, because the time-tested BN has been serving our people relatively well… at least until recently.

In the last decade or so, the BN that we are/were familiar with has been turning to be very unfamiliar. The ‘government’ that we knew and supported is fast becoming very alien to us.

Frankly an increasing number of BN loyalists are disenchanted with the coalition and the number is growing by the day. This is a fact.

It’s no more about winning over those who dumped the BN and voted for the Opposition parties in the last General Election. Now it is about how you contain BN members and supporters from drifting away.

The increasingly disenchanted members and supporters may not be joining any of the Opposition parties but they are certainly moving away from the BN.

The BN, or rather the BN leadership today has become so alien and detached from the rakyat. The leadership of today appears to be a populist leadership that is blinded by artificial “reality show” kind of euphoria.

Some from the top may jump down Menara Dato Onn in their boxers if Twitter and Facebook promised live coverage of the dare-devil event.

If they survive the fall, they might ‘Like’ that event on Facebook and boast about it in their blogs while their cyber-warriors flood our Twitter timeline.

Are we, or is the BN cursed with a set of incompetent, desperate but well-connected and well-fed leaders who are slowly killing the goose that has been laying the golden eggs for this country and her people all these years?

It is becoming increasingly untenable to support a Government that appears to be doing everything that we feared the ‘political monster’ would have done had he been crowned the PM in 1998.

Probably the apple-polishing advisors and million dollar consultants wouldn’t warn their client about such a scenario but this is the fact of the matter that is overwhelming the ground.

More often than not the government and its leaders appear to be bending over backwards to please their international rating agencies, the World Bank and the IMF. Doesn’t this ring a bell?

Now we have the top leaders happily announcing to their party members that the international rating agencies are happy with Malaysia because we cut our subsidies drastically (and make our people suffer). Again, doesn’t this ring a bell?

Many of us have been standing against a monster since 1998 because of his alternative sexual preferences and his subservience to the western powers, namely the US and its international tools like the World Bank, IMF and such, rating agencies included.

We feared that the monster, which has since been proven to be bisexual, would grab hold of the leadership and drag us into the dungeons and earn God’s wrath along the way.

We feared the monster that practiced ‘Seks Luar Tabii’ would be the PM. We rightly stopped it. But now we have one too many of such kinds in the corridors of power.

An explosive affidavit surfaced a couple of months ago.  It is a real affidavit and has been filed in a court of law. It is about the same ‘Seks Luar Tabii’ or Unnatural Sex and it involves an individual who is said to be up, close and personal with the leader and his flock of sheep.

Has the leader taken any action to distance himself from this ‘Seks Luar Tabii’ syndicate around him or is he angry that the dirty secrets of his close confidantes are being exposed?

Please make your stand known so we could take our stand. Do you subscribe/support or condone the freedom to practice ‘Seks Luar Tabii’? Just make an official statement and we will take note.

We are indeed in a dilemma because the DAP-led Opposition is certainly worse and shameless than the BN.

Just look at how Lim Guan Eng spins his way out of the ‘new Mercedes Benz’ hypocrisy with a straight face without any sense of shame or guilt. When DAP does it, it must be right; that is their religion and their followers buy it lock, stock and barrel. That is the Opposition’s ability to fool you, while grabbing your votes. 

Ok, enough for the day. I will save the abuse, lust, desire, arrogance and excesses for another day.
