Menentang Rasuah dan Salah Guna Kuasa Bukan Tuntutan Islam?

Bersekongkol dengan rasuah tidak dilarang Islam?

Kenyataan Mursyidul Am PAS Datuk Haron Din bahawa Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad menggadai prinsip kerana bersekongkol dengan DAP, yang dianggapnya musuh Islam, adalah lucu dan tidak berasas.

Lucu kerana Haron Din seolah-olah lupa bahawa PAS cuma baru setahun bercerai dengan DAP setelah berpasangan di dalam Pakatan Rakyat (PR) sejak 2008.

Sebelum itu, mereka bersama-sama di dalam Barisan Alternatif (BA) dari tahun 1998 hingga 2004. Ini tidak termasuk secara bukan harfiah sebelum tahun 1998.

Jika Haron Din menuduh Dr Mahathir menggadai prinsip kerana kerjasama dengan DAP yang dilabel memusuhi Islam, maka Haron Din harus mendesak pemimpin-pemimpin PAS membubarkan parti dan melakukan taubat setiap hari kerana dosa mereka lakukan bertahun-tahun dan berulang kali.

Bukan itu sahaja, Haron Din dan pemimpin-pemimpin PAS yang lain menanggung dosa ahli-ahli dan umat Melayu Islam lain di Malaysia yang diseru menyokong DAP samada semasa di dalam BA atau PR di dalam tahun-tahun yang dinyatakan tadi.

Kerjasama PAS dan DAP di dalam BA dan PR mempunyai tujuan yang nyata – untuk menjatuhkan kerajaan Barisan Nasional yang diterajui UMNO yang Presidennya Melayu Islam.

Jika mereka berjaya, akan jatuhlah seluruh Kerajaan BN yang diketuai UMNO.

Ini amatlah berbeza dengan apa yang diperjuangkan Dr Mahathir hari ini menerusi Deklarasi Rakyat.

Dia mahu menjatuhkan Dato Seri Najib kerana skandal kewangan dan rasuah yang mampu menghancurkan Negara.

Skandal 1MDB itu bukanlah tuduhan liar dan hari ini, yang paling mutakhir ialah permohonan International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) yang berpengkalan di Abu Dhabi yang mahu Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia dan 1MDB menjelaskan wang sejumlah US$6.5 billion (lebihkurang RM26 billion) kerana kegagalan 1MDB membayar pinjaman dan jaminan.

Ini tidak termasuk siasatan yang dilakukan terhadap 1MDB kerana pengaliran wang haram (money laundering) yang sedang berjalan di Switzerland, Singapura, Luxemborg, USA, UAE dan beberapa negara lain.

Selain itu, kemasukan wang sebanyak RM2.6 billion ke dalam akaun Najib yang dinafikan pada mulanya, sudah cukup menghilangkan kelayakan Najib sebagai pemimpin negara.

Adalah satu kesalahan yang amat berat untuk seorang Perdana Menteri mempunyai sejumlah wang sebesar itu di dalam akaun peribadinya yang tidak diisytiharkannya sebaik-baik menerima wang itu dan cuma mengaku apabila sudah tidak dapat menafikan lagi.

Skandal inilah yang telah membuatkan Dr Mahathir mengambil keputusan mendesak Najib meletak jawatan ataupun pada peringkat permulaan untuk bercuti sementara dan membenarkan institusi –institusi berwajib melakukan siasatan tanpa halangan atau gangguan.

Najib memilih untuk berdegil memegang jawatan dan akibatnya berlaku gangguan terhadap penyiasatan yang dijalankan terhadap Najib dan 1MDB sehingga Peguam Negara diberhentikan, Gabenor Bank Negara diugut, ketua dan penyiasat Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah (SPRM) diarahkan bertukar dan ditekan.

Jawatankuasa Kira-Kira Negara (PAC) yang sedang menyiasat turut dibubarkan.

Oleh kerana institusi-institusi ini telah dilumpuhkan, maka Dr Mahathir menyeru semua individu-individu berpengaruh di dalam negara untuk bersamanya mendesak Najib untuk meletak jawatan.

Hasilnya, pemimpin-pemimpin parti politik, badan bukan kerajaan, aktivis-aktivis dan pemimpin pelajar telah berkumpul dan bersama dengan Dr Mahathir menandatangani Deklarasi Rakyat (DR) yang fokusnya mendesak Najib meletak jawatan, mahukan reformasi untuk institusi-institusi yang mudah diganggugat oleh pemerintah dan pemansuhan undang-undang era Najib yang bersifat kuku besi dan mengambil-alih kuasa Raja-Raja Melayu.

Selain itu DR turut mempersoalkan GST, kos sara hidup yang melambung tinggi dan kesusahan yang ditanggung oleh rakyat.

Pemimpin politik yang hadir adalah dari UMNO, PKR, DAP, PAN dan juga dari PAS. Sehingga hari ini PAS tidak mengambil tindakan terhadap pemimpin mereka yang menandatangani deklarasi itu kerana diterima bahawa mereka hadir sebagai individu dan tidak mewakili parti.

Jika PAS menerima hakikat bahawa pemimpin mereka yang menandatangani DR adalah atas kapasiti sebagai individu, mengapakah pemimpin lain tidak dianggap hadir dalam kapasiti individu.

Mereka yang menanda tangani DR juga menerima bahawa yang perlu diturunkan ialah Najib dan jika Najib meletak jawatan, pemimpin yang mengambil-alih sebagai Perdana Menteri mestilah menerima sokongan majoriti di Dewan Rakyat.

Dalam lain perkataan, berdasarkan majoriti yang ada pada BN dan UMNO di Dewan Rakyat, perletakan jawatan Najib tidak akan membawa kepada kejatuhan Kerajaan kecuali ahli-ahli BN dan UMNO turut tidak bersetuju dengan pemimpin ganti dari UMNO dan BN.

Ini juga bermakna, penanda tangan DR menerima bahawa perubahan Kerajaan hanya akan berlaku di pilihanraya umum ke 14.

Ini juga menunjukkan bahawa kesemua yang menanda tangani DR menolak Najib dan dia ditolak kerana skandal 1MDB dan wang RM2.6 billion di dalam akaun peribadinya.

Jika diteliti, amat jelas DR tidak ada politik kepartian, tidak ada sebarang pakatan untuk menjatuhkan kerajaan ataupun kepimpinan Melayu Islam atau menukar dasar-dasar Islam yang sedia ada.

Selain itu, jika Najib turun, DR itu secara sendirinya terbubar dan ahli-ahlinya terus bersama parti politik pilihan mereka.

Dari segi mana sekalipun, ini berbeza dengan PAS semasa bekerjasama dengan DAP di dalam BA dan PR yang mahu untuk menjatuhkan kerajaan samada menerusi pilihanraya ataupun demonstrasi jalanan seperti tahun 1998.

Selain itu kenyataan Haron Din bahawa bersahabat baik dengan musuh Islam (dalam konteks Haron Din ianya ialah DAP) “kita akan jadi seperti mereka” agak bercelaru. Ini kerana Dr Mahathir baharu sahaja “berkenalan” dengan pemimpin DAP berbanding pemimpin PAS dan Haron Din dan itupun semata-mata kerana DR dan tidak dalam satu wadah pakatan politik .

Mungkin kerana Haron Din sudah seperti musuh Islam kerana terlalu lama bersama mereka maka dia sudah lupa bahawa skandal Najib dikeji oleh Islam dan akibatnya telah membuat Melayu Islam satu bangsa yang jelek dan hina.

Jika Haron Din pemimpin yang benar memperjuangkan Islam, dia pasti bersama Dr Mahathir dan menolak Najib dan bukan sebaliknya.

Tak takut Tuhan?

Sebagaimana yang dikatakan Pengarah Pilihanraya PAS Pusat Datuk Mustafa Ali, jika ada undi tidak percaya terhadap Perdana Menteri, PAS akan turut bersama kerana tindakan-tindakan terhadap 1MDB dan jawapan-jawapan terhadap derma RM2.6 bilion jelas tidak dapat diterima rakyat.:- Tun Ibrahim Tuan Man - Timbalan Presiden Pas

PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said today PAS will support a no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, as mentioned by the party's elections director Datuk Mustafa Ali.
"If there is a no-confidence vote moved against the prime minister, PAS will join in as the actions by 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and answers on the RM2.6 billion donation clearly cannot be accepted by the people," he said. - Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man  

Sebelum ini Tuan Ibrahim pernah membuat kenyataan bahawa skandal 1MDB serta permasalahan lain yang melanda Malaysia sebenarnya telah membuka ruang yang lebih luas untuk parti-parti pembangkang. Beliau berkata kini waktu terbaik bagi pembangkang untuk mengenepikan permasalahan mereka dan duduk semeja untuk mencatur kaedah untuk menyelamatkan negara.  

Kenyataan beliau dua minggu yang lalu itu mungkin hanya dinilai dari sudut politik kerana Tuan Ibrahim juga menyentuh tentang perlunya keseluruhan pentadbiran ditukar, bukan hanya setakat menyingkiran Perdana Menteri yang telah menyebabkan pelbagai masalah kepada negara dan rakyat. 

Namun kenyataan terbaru Tuan Ibrahim mungkin boleh ditafsir dalam konteks yang lebih luas, kerana kenyataan ini datangnya selepas 'komplot' Ahli Parlimen Barisan Nasional sendiri menyokong undi tidak percaya terhadap Perdana Menteri heboh. (Komplot dihebohkan oleh Timbalan Perdana Menteri)

Oleh itu, dari satu sudut Tuan Ibrahim boleh dilihat menzahirkan pendirian jelas PAS mengenepikan politik kepartian buat seketika  untuk berdiri bersama rakyat. 

Pas mungkin telah sedar akan denyut nadi sebenar sebahagian besar rakyat Malaysia dari pelbagai lapisan masyarakat tanpa mengira agama, bangsa, darjat atau pegangan politik. Ajaran agama serta nilai-nilai murni kehidupan mengatasi segalanya. 

Pas atau mana-mana parti politik atau perkumpulan lain tidak lagi mempunyai pilihan selain melangkah keluar dari kepompong politik demi menyelamatkan negara.

Ini bukan lagi politik. Ini gerakan aman rakyat Malaysia, mengikut lunas undang-undang serta perlembagaan, untuk menyelamatkan negara. 

Siapa lagi yang sebenarnya bersama rakyat untuk negara?

Harus diambil maklum juga bahawa ada sebilangan ahli politik pembangkang serta penyokong yang berpendapat bahawa krisis kepimpinan masakini harus dibiarkan berlarutan agar parti pemerintah lumpuh sepenuhnya menjelang pilihanraya akan datang. Mereka ini nyata meletakkan kepentingan parti mengatasi segalanya tanpa mempedulikan akibatnya kepada negara dan rakyat?

TIDAK WAJAR MINTA TOLONG DR MAHATHIR

1. Saya tidak tawar untuk menolong sesiapa untuk mengatasi apa-apa masalah.

2. Dalam blog saya, saya tidak menuduh Dato Seri Najib melakukan apa-apa jenayah. Itu boleh ditentukan jika polis dapat membuat siasatan. Yang saya pohon ialah jawapan kepada soalan-soalan yang disuarakan oleh ramai rakyat.

3. Saya akui dimasa saya juga ada kehilangan wang negara. Tetapi rakyat dan dunia tahu bagaimana wang ini hilang. Kerugian yang dialami oleh Perwaja diketahui. Demikian juga dengan salah urus Bank Bumiputra oleh pengurusannya. Maminco rugi kerana London Metal Exchange memutuskan bahawa bijih timah yang dijual mengikut perjanjian jual beli yang sah tidak perlu ditunaikan dengan membekal logam berkenaan kepada pembeli. Ini diputuskan untuk menyelamat penjual yang tidak ada timah. Malaysia sebagai pembeli mengalami kerugian.

4. Saya ingin penerangan berkenaan bagaimana Konsortium Perkapalan dan Forex merugikan Kerajaan dan bagaimana saya terlibat dalam perkara ini.

5. Yang nyata ialah negara tahu dimana pergi wang yang dilabur semasa saya. Dalam perniagaan adakala untung, adakala rugi. Yang tidak boleh diterima ialah duit itu hilang tanpa diketahui kemana.

6. Hari ini nilai Ringgit jatuh sebanyak 70 sen. Tiap satu Ringgit jatuhnya matawang kita, negara, Kerajaan dan rakyat kerugian berbillion. Kejatuhan sebanyak 70 sen pun merugikan berbillion Ringgit juga.

7. Tetapi apabila Ringgit diselamatkan dari penyangak matawang, berbillion Ringgit duit Kerajaan diselamatkan. Dan ramai peniaga yang muflis dan hampir muflis terselamat pada tahun 1998. Lupakan sahajalah peristiwa ini kerana ia berlaku dizaman saya.

8. Tetapi dalam kes 1MDB, tidak ada jawapan yang munasabah berkenaan 42 billion Ringgit yang dihutang. Kenapa bayar lebih 10% komisyen kepada Goldman Sachs hanya kerana menjual bond atau membuat pinjaman bagi Kerajaan. Kenapa faedah 5.9% dikenakan, satu faedah yang amat tinggi.

9. Disoal juga peranaan Jho Low. Siapa dianya yang diberi kepercayaan mengendali wang 1MDB berbillion-billion ringgit milik syarikat Kerajaan. Tidak ada persamaan antara Jho Low dengan Daim yang saya lantik sebagai Menteri.

10. Dimana datangnya ratusan million Ringgit untuk membeli bangunan-bangunan dan melabur dalam filem “The Wolf of Wall Street” oleh Riza Aziz, anak tiri Dato Seri Najib.

11. Saya bukan tuduh Dato Seri Najib. Saya bertanya beberapa soalan kerana hutang berbillion ini akan ditanggung akhirnya oleh rakyat. Jawapan tidak juga diberi oleh mereka yang mengecam saya selain daripada berkata saya punyai kepentingan atau saya juga buat kerja yang sama.

12. Apabila saya letak jawatan satu usaha dibuat untuk mendapat bukti saya lesapkan duit Kerajaan. Kalau hendak buat siasatan lagi, saya tidak ada halangan.

Dahulu sokong, kenapa tidak sekarang?

13. Pembaca portal “Free Malaysia Today”, Izack Chin bertanya kenapa saya dahulu sokong Dato Seri Najib supaya mengganti Tun Abdullah. Pada masa itu Najib ternampak bersih. Sekarang ada syak wasangka dikalangan orang ramai yang tidak terjawab..

14. Sudah lapan tahun berlalu kenapa bangkit perkara ini? Ini bukan masalah lapan tahun dahulu. Yang saya soal ialah berkenaan masalah hari ini – masalah nyawa dua orang anggota polis yang dihukum bunuh. Amatlah tidak adil jika mereka dibunuh sedangkan mereka sebagai pegawai rendah polis hanya mengikut perintah.

15. Saya hanya tanya berkenaan siapa yang mengeluar perintah kepada Sirul dan rakannya.

Temasek and 1MDB

16. Salleh Said Kruak compares Low Taek Jho and my critic of him with the criticism against me regarding Ananda Krishan’s involvement in Petronas and the appointment of my friend Daim Zainuddin as Finance Minister. I really do not see any similarity.

17. Ananda Krishnan bought the race course in Jalan Ampang. He could develop this prime land by himself. But he decided to sell one half share of the 100 acres land to Petronas and developed it together. Later he sold his tower to Petronas. What is wrong with that? Petronas made tons of money from the project.

18. There is no similarity at all between Temasek of Singapore and 1MDB. Temasek did not lose money but money borrowed by 1MDB has disappeared.

19. 1MDB is not excess fund belonging to the Government. 1MDB borrowed all its billions. Borrowed money cannot be regarded as wealth. So far the only asset owned by 1MDB are the pieces of land bought from the Government at a price very much below market price. They have been highly revalued. But until they are sold, they cannot be used to pay the 42 billion the 1MDB borrowed. They cannot even pay the interest.

20. As for the comment that it is unfair for me to ask Najib to step down as he was elected through democratic process, I would like to remind Datuk Jamal (Md Yunos) that Tun Abdullah was also elected but Najib was partly instrumental in asking him to step down.

21. With regard to my political agenda, what is wrong with that? A Prime Minister must be seen to be clean and able to explain and answer questions and to be good for the country. Najib cannot even answer and has not answered any question, beyond exercising elegant silence or saying the allegations are not true.

22. There is also an attempt to divert attention from my question by saying that I am siding with the opposition, even that I have become leader of the opposition.

23. If saying something that is similar to the opposition makes me aligned with the opposition, then Najib must be more with the opposition than me because he agreed with the opposition to abolish the ISA, the prevention of crime law and ignore the NEP. He also wanted to abolish the Sedition Act as demanded by the opposition. If UMNO did not object the Sedition Act would have been abolished. So is Najib a member of the opposition?

24. I am still an UMNO member. My disagreement is with the leader, not with the party. I criticised the leader, not the party. It is simply because I want to see the party win. It will not win if Najib is the leader.

25. I had great hopes when Najib took over from Abdullah.

26. But he did even worse than Abdullah, losing more badly in Selangor where he was the Head of UMNO. Thre are so many scandals surrounding him now. His popularity is now even lower than when he led the BN in 2013. In a number of constituencies the margins won by Barisan Nasional (BN) are very narrow.

27. Sabah and Sarawak, are now no longer safe, no longer BN’s fixed deposits.

28. Is it too absurd to predict defeat for the BN in 2018.

29. As for my sons, if I had wanted them to succeed in politics I could have done so when I was Prime Minister. If they succeed it will be by their own effort. If the people don’t like them they will not get this support.

1MDB, Hudud and the looming darkness

Well, injustice could also land you in hell especially if it's committed under the pretext of doing good for society. 

The fear of injustice has been the sole stumbling block that prevented the ruling government from supporting Pas' Hudud for more than five decades. But after holding the fort and putting the interest of the multiracial society before politics for more than five decades, things appear to be changing now.

Umno has openly endorsed Pas' Hudud in Kelantan although for so long Umno had refused support because Pas' Hudud was not the same as the Syariah law spelled out in the Quran. Suddenly all those arguments and ridicule against Pas' Hudud appears to have come to nought. Suddenly some Umno leaders are trying hard to convince you that Pas' Hudud is something that has been prescribed in the Quran. 

Political expediency at its best? I hope not but Umno appears to be standing tall with Pas, at least in Kelantan.

Both Pas and Umno are weak in their own way, within their own grouping, but are they stooping so low as to use/abuse Hudud for their political survival? 

On one hand Abdul Hadi Awang appears to be hoisting the Negara Islam flag once again, via this latest Hudud saga, after having given it up a couple of years ago. Negara Islam was traded for Negara Kebajikan for political expediency before the last general election. Now it looks like a different ball game with Umno joining the band. Whatever it is, it never was and never is about upholding Islam and its teachings.

On another front Umno appears busy flogging the same horse to drown growing opposition against its president Najib Razak and his failure to lead. Topping the list of the growing opposition and concerns against Najib is the 1MDB scandal. Jet-setting flamboyance is among others in the long list of disapproval.  

Some say Umno has joined the Hudud bandwagon, not out of sudden conviction, but merely to stop the eroding grassroots support and most importantly to overlay the dark shadows of 1MDB that is looming around the corner. 

1MDB is hanging like the Sword of Damocles over Najib's head and Umno has to do all it could to save its president. I think Umno could do better by just changing its president and that too, I'm sure, would remain as an option especially when more shit hits the fan.

Recent moves suggest that 1MDB could be nearing its end and could be completely shut down. Asset stripping is already in motion. None other than 1MDB critic Nazir Razak's CIMB has been appointed to oversee some of 1MDB's 'fire sale'. 

What next? 

Would those who stole/cheated/siphoned/conned/acted stupid/closed one eye and/or responsible for 1MDB losing hundreds of millions if not billions of Ringgit be put out to dry or would such acts of treason be wrapped up and summarised as 'bad investment' ? 

If at all action is taken against those responsible in the 1MDB scandal, I propose for them to be tried in the state of Kelantan. I believe traitors would be served harsher punishment under Pas' Hudud.

In the meantime, would such traitors be called in for questioning and remanded for investigations or would 'wolves from walled street' be treated differently? 

Remember, injustice will lead you to hell.

Kemelut Hudud menunjukan kebodohan segelintir yang bergelar pemimpin

KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 — Senior Umno minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz turned the heat up a notch in the controversy over hudud today, harshly describing those bickering over the law and its planned implementation in Kelantan as “stupid people”.

The outspoken politician said there was no need to worry over PAS’s hudud agenda as in the first place, the controversial Islamic penal code runs counter to the Federal Constitution and would therefore never be implemented in Malaysia.

“They are all stupid, whoever is talking about this from whichever political party. This can only happen if there is an amendment to the Federal Constitution.

“So why even talk or bother about something that is against the Constitution and will not happen? Exercise in futility,” the former de facto law minister told reporters when met at the Parliament lobby here.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bodoh dan tiada guna. Itu adalah reaksi Menteri Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz ketika ditanya mengenai pelaksanaan hudud di Kelantan yang sedang hangat dibincangkan.

"Saya tidak peduli jika pandangan saya boleh diguna pakai terhadap kedua-dua belah parti yang mempunyai jurang politik.

"Bagi saya, ia tidak pernah menjadi isu," katanya kepada The Star Online.


Soalan saya - 

1. Berapa ramai pemimpin Umno yang telah tiba-tiba menjadi bodoh atau pura-pura bodoh, dalam isu Hudud, demi kepentingan politik mereka?

2. Apakah Presiden Umno merangkap Pengerusi Barisan Nasional yang masih belum membuat pendirian jelas berhubung sesuatu yang begitu 'bodoh' serta 'tidak masuk akal' ini juga boleh dianggap atau ditafsir sebagai bodoh?

3. Kenapa tiba-tiba ramai sangat dari golongan yang bergelar pemimpin mula mempamerkan kebodohan dikhalayak ramai?  

4. Ramai juga yang bercerita tentang kebodohan kerajaan / pentadbiran dalam isu kenaikan kos tambang pengangkutan awam darat. Siapa yang bodoh dalam kebodohan yang nyata ini? SPAD, kabinet, JPM atau semua sekali? Yang bodoh itu pasti bukan drebar teksi dalam isu ini.

Absolutely powerful Umno-Pas talks

An Umno – Pas unity talk could dominate national political debate soon. All arrows are pointing towards embattled Pas President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and his Umno counterpart Datuk Seri Najib Razak. Something seems to be brewing.

The recent passing of Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz is widely speculated to have expedited ongoing talks between leaders from both sides. It’s unclear how this marriage of convenience is being proposed.

A bigger mess looms in Barisan Nasional for none of the other component members seems to be in the know of this latest ‘unity’ stunt. Pakatan Rakyat on the other hand have no choice but to admit the leftovers who are against any such cooperation with Umno or BN.

Pakatan Rakyat’s internal spat has worsened since the infamous Kajang Move and the subsequent Selangor Mentri Besar saga. With Anwar Ibrahim lurking in Sungai Buloh and an Azmin-Wan Azizah power struggle looming in the horizon, PKR could better concentrate on their survival. Pas leaving the Pakatan pact would no longer raise too many eyebrows. DAP has been standing on its own. 

In Umno the president is so strong that we may not see even a single Umno branch or division, let alone state, leadership standing up to voice the views of the grassroots. It’s a one-way street.

Whether we like it or not, Najib is one of the strongest president Umno has had in terms of total subservience of the Umno leadership structure. It would not be far fetched to say that Najib’s position as Umno president is unassailable.

The deputy president and three vice-presidents appear ‘not ready’ for greater responsibility, or at least that is how they have been portrayed either intentionally or otherwise.

With absolute power Najib and by extension those close to him are allowed to do whatever they want. A unity talk without prior consultation or deliberations within BN could be the least of Najib’s worries at this moment. In fact such a merger with Pas could be used to help boost Najib’s waning popularity, atlas among the divided Malays.

Unity is good but trust is paramount. Would an open pact between Umno and Pas lead towards betterment of the community and society at large or would it wedge a greater divide between the races? 

What could be the reaction of the dozen other members of BN who represent almost all the other races and ethnic groups in the country? Najib may not care because even his position as the BN chairman appears unassailable. (Najib is even personally micro-managing the power struggle in MIC at the moment)

Hypothetically could a Umno-Pas pact, if it materialises, not trigger similar political pacts between MCA, Gerakan, DAP, SUPP, UPP, SAPP and other Chinese dominated political parties? Who would call whom a traitor then?

It's a precarious situation. If not handled carefully, a move in the wrong direction could possibility mark the beginning of BN's end. 

With absolute power, political expediency could override norms and convention. Whether such an expediency is sustainable is another matter altogether.  

Mystery and mysterious wheelings and dealings have become daily diet in our political scene nowadays. Let’s just wait till the clouds clear. A new political equation could very well be in the making.    

p/s Don't worry. Whatever happens, Najib Razak will remain as Umno president, BN chairman and Prime Minister as nobody has been allowed to appear good enough to replace him at the moment. Thats the picture. 

Perak PKR state assemblyman QUITS? - UPDATED

It has been brought to my attention that the 'resignation letter' purportedly sent by YB Kesavan is fake. Kesavan has denied sending the letter.

I hope YB Kesavan will step forward to explain this 'fake' letter soon. We want to know if:

1. The letter is indeed fake; or

2. Is it a genuine letter with Kesavan's original signature but was 'leaked' to the State Assembly Speaker by persons known to the YB?

Please clarify YB!

UKRC: Another broken promise

Many among us would still remember the failed struggle to save the late Kampung Buah Pala in Penang. 

Kampung Buah Pala or better known as High Chaparral was a traditional Indian village in Penang that was slaughtered by politicians, from both sides of the divide until the more than 100-year old village was flattened. Finally it was the DAP-led state government that shooed both human and cattle away despite those rosy promises by none other than Pakatan Rakyat supremo Anwar Ibrahim himself. 

So, based on such unscrupulous, untrustworthy, sly politicians' actions in the past, the latest battle between Ulu Kelang Recreation Club and the Pakatan ruined Selangor state government is of no surprise. It has become all too convenient for some shameless politicians/elected representatives to NOT keep their promises. They also see it fit to tell lies.

But the very upset members of UKRC and their strong supporters from beyond Ulu Kelang are not going to throw in the towel and allow such shameless politicians to trample over them or their field. 

UKRC is standing up to hold up their rights and they are standing against the mighty Selangor state government's arm, the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council or MPAJ.   

The legal battle begins tomorrow -

Did PAS' Hulu Kelang state assemblyman Saari Sungip (seen above in white skullcap) make empty promises and/or tell blatant lies to his constituents? 

The Ulu Kelang Recreation Club (UKRC) folks are very sure he did just that, and they are not taking it sitting down.

DAP, PKR and Pas MPs stepping down for Anwar?

Padang Merbok in Kuala Lumpur is where the #Blackout505 illegal political gathering took place on Saturday afternoon. Padang Merbok is a stone’s throw away from Tugu Negara, our National Monument for fallen heroes of Malaysia.

The National Monument is a sculpture that commemorates those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960. It is located in the Federal capital, Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian Houses of Parliament is situated near the monument.

It is the world's tallest bronze freestanding sculpture grouping.[1] Every year on 31 July on Warriors' Day, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the Prime Minister and heads of military and the police pay their respects to the fallen heroes by laying garlands at the monument. - Wikipedia

The black political gathering of about 10,000 people (I think all of them were Malaysians ;-) near Tugu Negara was not in protest of the proposed development of a 'Theme Park" on a 26.3 hectare green lung adjacent/around Tugu Negara. It was a simply a black political gathering to massage the ego and arrogance of some Opposition politicians and their NGO buddies.

Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim should by now know and recognise the fact that his black gathering to topple the Government of Malaysia via street demonstrations and violent disobedience does not have the support of even his fellow Pakatan bed fellows.

I don't think many PKR members and supporters attended in the first place. 

The gathering demanding the resignation of the top Election Commission (SPR) leadership and its council members has failed. Anwar knows he has failed. 

He has now promised more gatherings because the gathering today was a total failure. Anwar, in one of his worst speeches I've witnessed, even tried blaming the lack of support at Padang Merbok to the prevailing haze from Indonesia.

Some of those at Padang Merdeka actually started walking away when Anwar started his ego-boosting antics on the microphone. Relating his recent conversation with the President of Indonesia and how he was badmouthing his country, he tried to cajole the crowd but people were leaving. It could have been due to the enveloping haze but is Anwar not the God sent leader for Pas, DAP, PKR and all progressive NGOs put together? Well, I leave it at that. 

In a nutshell Nurul Izzah outshined her desperate daddy with good showmanship and intonation. The contents were spiced up political rhetoric but she did better than her visibly desperate daddy. Even rabble rouse Adam Adli spoke better than the 66-year old sacked former Deputy Prime Minister.

By 6pm there were a maximum of 3,000 people at Padang Merbok and all dispersed peacefully except for a group of Badrul (they guy who ran from Rembau to someplace in Penang and still lost in the last GE...) followers who started camping on the field. Anwar and gang left Padang Merbok much earlier. 

Oh ya!... after boasting about his conversation with President Susilo Bambang, Anwar did deny that he was in Indonesia recently for a secret meeting with Prime Minister Najib who was also there on the same date. 

"I didn't meet Najib in Indonesia. No! No! No!," came in Sivaji the Boss style. 

We might never know if Anwar was finally telling the truth as it is or he purposely blurted the No trice in style to fuel further speculations. But generally not many were listening to him compared to those who had their eyes glued on Nurul Izzah when she was on stage.

Maybe the best Anwar could attempt now to restore his relevance is to persuade all 89 Pas, Dap and PKR representatives (including himself) to 'step down' or rather refrain from taking their oath as elected members of the Dewan Rakyat on Monday. 

That would be the litmus test for you at this point of time YB Anwar Ibrahim (Permatang Pauh), not flogging the almost dead horse called sympathy.

Even your own people appear tired, very tired of your cry baby antics.

Many of us practically fought tooth and nail to drive home the argument that you don’t have to change the government of the day to bring about productive change for Malaysia.

Malaysia is a blessed nation. We are blessed people of a nation held together by diversity. Certainly our level of togetherness was a little better in the recent past, until a new brand of politics started taking centre stage.

The neo-liberals may have convincing arguments but the end game of the ‘new’ politics was ultimately about regime change. That was the name of the project. Regime change in Malaysia, and it is an open secret.

As regime change was the project, the name of the game in the last general elections in Malaysia was not democracy, transparency or fairness. It was not even about eradicating corruption.

The role of the Opposition was also transformed. They wanted to be the Government, not Opposition, and they wanted it at any cost.

Rather than being the check and balance, the eyes and ears and at times the brains of the people, the Opposition was hijacked by a group of power crazy people.

The leader, of this group of experienced political animals and their younger neo-liberal ilk, had made his intention very clear. He wants to topple the BN-led government and become the Prime Minister.

Having failed to convince enough people to support him, he now wants to hold daily street demonstrations to topple the government. He has even been rehearsing for the Oath Taking (as PM) before the YDP Agong (King). That is how crazy the lunatic is.

So, some of us simpletons are convinced that this is crazy. That it is crazy to support the wants of a lunatic who wants to be the Prime Minister. It is crazy to support this group of power crazy people who sell half-truths as the gospel truth to their faithful supporters.

It is crazy to support a bunch of traitors masquerading as activists and politicians. 

The lunatic and his well choreographed performers are damaging the country from all angles to paint the ugliest possible picture of the government. They hold firm to the ‘end justifies the means’ maxim. It was all about a regime change in Malaysia.

The main institutions of the Government were targeted, with malice and the sole purpose of fanning hatred against the government and the leadership. Crime is now a political chip and they have a bunch of learned lawyers heading that mud-slinging unit.

Acting is an advantage.

Even an express boat mishap triggered pot shots at the government, while the authorities were frantically searching for the missing passengers.

The new politics in Malaysia came in the form of unproductive gutter politics. All means were justified as long as the purpose is to topple the government.

Even a learned ‘doctor’ of a researcher who is now a politician was proven to have told/spread blatant lies about phantom voters during GE-13. There were countless other lies and deceptive propaganda aimed at fooling the voters.

Tun Dr Mahathir fleeing the nation before polling day and the BN transporting 40,000 odd Bangladesh nationals from some sky kingdom to vote for Najib. Both are clear examples of how even the learned were fooled with such ridiculous allegations.

Popular votes? 

That was another of the lunatic's serial bullshit for idiots who god worshipped him. 

He has been going around telling people, (some idiots actually do believe him), that Pas, Dap and PKR should be allowed to form the government as they had actually won in the GE.  

A few Bangkok/Washington based foreign journalists and writers have vouched that the regime change agenda was an American plot.

Well, it could even be a plot hatched in Temasek but at the end of the day its up to us Malaysians to make our choice.

The much anticipated 13^th General Election is over. There has been loads of change but Malaysians have made it clear that we don’t need a regime change.

Barisan Nasional, a 13-component institution that represents each and every group of people in this diverse country, has been returned to power. BN has 133 parliamentary seats. Pas, DAP and PKR share the remaining 89 of the 222 parliamentary seats. That's the final count.

Project ‘regime change’ in Malaysia failed. A few straight thinking politicians in PAS have accepted the fact that they have been hoodwinked by those bunch of power crazy lot among them. Even Pas has indirectly kicked out the 'Anwarinas' among them. Mat Sabun, Husam Musa and Dzul were clear targets of the anti-AlJub faction in the party. 

The lunatic, being what he is and has always been, doesn’t accept the fact. He is still trying to fuel massive street protests and civil disobedience to topple the Government.

Unsurprisingly, a growing number of those in PAS and some able-minded ones in DAP have begun distancing themselves from the lunatic and his antics.

If a blessed nation like Malaysia is to topple her Government via massive street protests as in Egypt, then no future Government of Malaysia will be safe from such ugly street protests. Those in Pas, DAP and even PKR recognise this hard fact.

If you have had supported the lunatic in the past and had looked upon Egypt as an example of how the people protesting on the streets could bring a government down, look at Egypt again. Where are they now?

Look at Turkey, Egypt, also Syria, and don’t forget to steal a glance at Iraq, a 6,000 year-old civilization that experienced Uncle Sam’s ‘regime change’ more than ten years ago.

p/s As the noose around his neck tightens, the lunatic will have no choice but to accept the outcome of the 13th GE and attend parliament on June 24. He will have to be there, minus all sense of shame and self-respect, as he had promised to retire from politics if he failed to effect a regime change in Malaysia.

Don't follow the losers

They cry out aloud for democracy and transparency but have conveniently shied away from their war cry in their own party. 

PAS whose president wields a little or lesser power is dictated by a spiritual leader who often mistook himself for the Prophets. 

The unelected spiritual leader is the actual leader, not the elected President. Democracy has to be redefined to accommodate Pas... maybe.

DAP on the other hand has democracy etched in its name but in actual practice, as being continuously exposed by its former members and leaders, democracy appears like a corpse in DAP backyard.

The father and son political tyranny in DAP is an open secret. What is not so secret any longer is the way the Lim dynasty chokes dissent in DAP, even while screaming for a CAT administration here and there. 

By right the much disputed Dec 2012 DAP CEC election, where vote rigging and manipulation is suspected and alleged, ought to be held again. 

By right, by democratic norms, the party should call for a re-election of the CEC which appoints top party leaders including the powerful secretary general.

DAP members claim 750-odd eligible delegates were barred/not allowed to vote during the disputed CEC elections. They have also claimed that more than 500 phantom delegates could have voted to elect the 20 DAP CEC members in Dec 2012.

They suspect the 'inclusion' of Zairil Khir Johari was a fraudulent act, an afterthought engineered to please/hoodwink the Malays in DAP and those at large with blind hatred against the Government.

So, why is the popular secretary general who happens to be party supreme commander's son reluctant to call for a re-election of the CEC? Is DAP not a democratic party whose top most leaders are appointed by TWENTY members?

If you are appointed by only TWENTY members whose very own election is in dispute, you should shut the F up and mind the democracy in your party.

You certainly don't have the moral or political right to point fingers at others, more so at your opponents, when democracy in your party is on the dead bed.
PKR is a party for ONE man, led by ONE man and his wife, with ONE single objective... to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Everything else about PKR is bullshit.

Democracy is just another slogan for the Opposition parties in Malaysia. Its very similar to their version of transparency, anti-corruption, cronyism, nepotism and such.

I just hope those in Barisan Nasional won't emulate Pas, DAP and PKR, especially when its about democracy within the party.
